I started my design career in 2005 with a large Vancouver firm specializing in multi-family development. In 2009 I left to start my own company; Occupy Design, which I owned and operated out of North Vancouver up to the end of 2017. In the late Summer of 2017 together with my husband and our young son, we decide to relocate our family back to the Okanagan, where my childhood was blissfully spent. Our decision to be closer to family and located in this beautiful valley has already brought us immense happiness.
Design to me has always been about potential. The potential of what the people that will later inhabit the space could possibly feel. This has always appealed to me as a powerful way to create joy in the lives of others. My desire in design is to create unique, thoughtfully designed spaces that people can live out their joy in.
